We have seen how cyberspace destabilizes our sense of reality, our sense of self, and our ideas about social categories. Bradbury’s work creates a similar feeling of disorientation and his writing style has a surreal quality. Bradbury’s stories feature both the narration of improbable events and a highly poetic style of writing.

Write a story about an unusual/bizarre/disorienting experience or situation in which you also employ a Bradbury-like style.
